So! As we wind our merry way toward 2019, what's everyone bringing to their table or their tablet or their tireless writing engine next year?

What do you want to see from the newly announced developers and distributors of V5? What's the content you'd pay good money to see on the Storytellers' Vault?

For that matter, what do you lovely people want this community to do? I haven't run anything like this for years, and I have only a few ideas and poor tag discipline on my side. Monthly "Tell Us About Your..." discussion posts, maybe a play by post game, fic recs, but what else?

Honestly, I'm down for all the post types you suggest! Perhaps also some kind of periodic "what's your take on X clan/concept/other lore thing?" discussions could be fun.

I did a couple of guides for a forum game that I was a part of at one point, some character creation tips and thoughts and commentary that I could post sometime if you want. Also potentially some mini-comics featuring some of the characters pre-story, perhaps.

As for what's on the horizon for me... mostly comic stuff. My goal is to launch in September, although time will tell if that's realistic or not. I'd like to have the plot mapped out at a high level before I do, and that section very much goes in fits and starts- it's one thing to say "and then the Giovanni try to get the prince to let them have more territory", but a lot harder to figure out how exactly they would plan to do that, lol.

I'm not playing in an actual game at the moment, as my group is taking an indefinite break to play Hunter: The Reckoning instead. I miss the fangs, but my little Redeemer isn't too bad either, so it's alright, I guess.

That all sounds good! I'm always up for a guide, especially in these dark times when the current edition isn't always as helpful as it could be. Preludes and promos for your comic would be Most Well Received too, I'm sure.

Hunter is one of them ones that I've read about but only played once - in a session where the ST was trying something experimental, so I didn't even get to pick stats or creed.

Interestingly enough, that's somewhat how we're doing it, too. Myself and the other two players created normal, baseline mortals, statted them up, and played through our imbuing (we all heard the call during the same event, at more-or-less the same time). The choices we made during the session determined our creeds, edges, and the rest of the stat boosts hunters get over regular mortals. Seems to have turned out fine thus far, but we slowed down for the holidays shortly after that and are just now starting to pick up again, so jury is still somewhat out.

I think it works fine if you're statted up by the end of the session. My ST was going for a slower burn kind of deal. Dangerous when you've got to hook people and make them schedule the time for a game. Hope your game stays in gear.
