Vampire: the Various is about various forms of pretending to be vampires. Yes, I know it seems really obvious when we just say it like that, but shush.

Mostly it's about bringing together fans of the Vampire role playing games and their associated content. There's an orientation post which lists... well, I think I got all of them, but it's a work in progress.

Posting Guidelines

Yes! Post it! If it's Vampire, we're interested. Talk about your games, and actual play, and fanart and fanfic and the media that shape how you (yes, you) perceive and play in the World of Darkness. All we ask is that you push a little - go into the whys and wherefores, explain your choices, ask the questions. Start a conversation.

Mentioning other splats and how they intersect with Vampire is fine, but - like the game itself - the theme and focus of the community will be lost if absolutely everything that's ever had a product line is jammed in cheek by jowl. At the end of the day, a good Vampire game emphasises and centres on and resonates with the thematic significance of the vampires: so do we.

This community does not tolerate hatespeech, personal attacks, wilful self-deprecation or edition warfare.

This community does tolerate political discourse, in so far as it relates to Vampire, but please: no low effort ranting by numbers about how "WW is pandering to the edgelords" or "the SJWs are ruining everything."

Vampire is a problematic game about problematic people doing problematic things; Vampire is not a vehicle for the maladjusted to torment each other or us. Fiction is fiction, but what we like in fiction says something about us as people - maybe something we need to think about. Mature content demands a mature attitude.
