Most of mine freelance, or work from home. It's often boring, repetitive work if you're not leaning into the urban-fantasy angle (most work from home is call-center customer service work), but in the game we're in now, my freelancer mostly does things like retrieve stolen spellbooks, or collect dangerous potions ingredients, or do bodyguard work.
